I took Katelynn to the Doctor yesterday for her 2nd weigh in to monitor weight gain. And gain she did! 12oz!!! In 1 week! She weighed 5lbs 3oz last Monday and yesterday she weighed 5lbs 15oz! Almost 6lbs baby girl! The Doctor was very pleased since on average babies gain only an oz a day (the Doctor did say since she had eaten in the last hour and not had a BM that probably had something to do with the 12oz, but either way her goal was to be at birth weight by 2 weeks, and she far exceeded that). She no longer has to come back for weekly weight checks, unless I want to bring her in. So she moved out of the 3% for weight and into approximately the 10% (yea! double digits!). She was 18 5/8 inches, about the 25% for height, and her head was 33cm, also about the 25%. I am just so happy that she is growing so well! She did have to get on Prevacid for her reflux....can't I have a baby that doesn't have this problem? But no more scheduled Doctor's visits until 8 weeks!

She is just a little peanut in the phone picture! Nice work on the weight gain though. How in the world do you talk Jack into wearing a hat AND sunglasses?? Luke would have both off in 2 seconds.

I have been out of town...so i'm so sorry I haven't commented. She is so stinkin cute - all 6lbs of her. I think she looks like Jack - but feminine. Congrats again...and very impressive you're getting out already. I hope all is well and Katelynn keeps gaining weight.

p.s. can we note jack's eye lashes in the snow cone picture? I am praying those eye lashes over Katelynn.
