So happy he could just scream!

Jack is finally better after a week of sickness. I can't really complain though, it was Jack's first real sickness. First fever, first earache, and second round of antibiotics in 15 1/2 months...not bad for my healthy breastfed baby. Nonetheless, we had to take him to the doctor twice and he was a pathetic heap of neediness last week. Oh and did I mention Nathan was out of town for the whole week. Great timing Jack! So Friday, after his second dose of antibiotics, he was feeling like a whole new man and wanted to play outside. This was his reaction to his new found freedom after a week of "captivity" ...
He just kept laughing and screaming with happiness. He just felt so good he couldn't hide it....

During my week of captivity and solitary confinement (Because he was sick I couldn't go anywhere. We actually went 2 days without seeing another human. Very depressing!) I turned my restless energy into crafting. I was able to make the curtains for Jack's room. FINALLY!

Now I just need to figure out what to do for above his crib? I am trying to avoid the standard issue "Jack" in painted wood letters....any ideas?I would love a painted sock monkey on his wall. So feel free to come paint a sock monkey on his wall if you desire and you can actually paint a sock monkey.

Nice job on the curtains. They look sooo cute & professional. Sorry to read Jack was sick - I think every little kid got some sick-bug this year. He looks like a happy camper with his freedom again.
