Busy Busy Busy

Jack and I have been very busy the last week or so. I blame it on the "2nd timester energy"...I can't sit still. I have been taking Jack just about anywhere and everywhere lately. Out in the snow, the zoo, the skating rink, parks, play dates...anything to keep us busy. Of course I have been taking pictures along the way. I am still messing with and learning Photoshop Elements...a bigger task than learning the camera in my opinion. So here are some pictures unedited :( but still cute.

It snowed about 6 inches maybe more last week. I tell you, sometimes I feel like I live in the frozen tundra.
Jack was helping Daddy hang pictures...not snow related, but on the same day.

Jack liked the snow but didn't understand why he got so cold. He would just freak out all of the sudden. So I would run him inside and strip him down to the bone. Here he is half naked just as happy as can be to be warm...oh and playing with Daddy's boots.

Some night time story telling.
And some good night kisses.
I took Jack to this indoor skating rink where you bring a riding toy and they let the kids just run free and play. The idea of running in circles for hours seemed to agree with Jack's personality.
Oh and he worked on his bowling game for a while.

We also went to the zoo which I have decided is his all time favorite outing. He could stand and stare at an animal exhibit forever. It is the ONLY time he stands still.

Here he is watching the monkeys stuffing his face.

A random monkey. I was practicing shooting with what I so professionally call my "big lens." I think it came out pretty good considering it is still a raw image completely unedited.
I love this picture! I think it shows Jack's true love for the zoo. "If I could only get a little closer..."
OK I lied, I did edit this picture as one of my practices.Took out some splotches on his face and messed with the color saturation and light.

Unfortunately at the zoo I can only get pictures of the back of Jack's head. He doesn't pay too much attention to me when there are animals around.

Worn out after a long day at the zoo.

You weren't kidding - busy, busy, busy. I love the pictures. I don't think I knew you were getting into photography. It's an awesome skill, and I wish I had it. Jack is getting so big. And, you're still tiny!!! When are you due?
