Children's Museum of Memphis

Today, Jack and I took a field trip to the Children's Museum of Memphis with one of the Mommies groups. I am pretty sure this place is the equivalent of paradise for Jack. People, he loved this place and played until he dropped and is now well into the 3rd hour of his nap (why I love this place!).

We started off in the disco section. Jack was instantly drawn by the loud music and disco lights. He would have stayed here all day and been just fine.

Here he is in action. His face towards the end says it all....

After I had enough of the repeating disco songs, I took him over to the 4 and under play area, and Jack was pleasantly surprised that there was even more fun to be had. He climbed all over the fort - Up. Down. Up. Down. And then he shot some hoops, cooked in the kitchen, and played with some cars.

Stairs, glorious stairs. He probably climbed them about 15 times.

Here is Jack's lovely "My foot is stuck" face. I am sure you can here the accompanying whine in your head.
Peek-a-boo, what's around the corner?
Ahh the slide...his favorite part.

Watch him scale the slide like a monkey, one shoe and all.

Then we were off to the safety section where Jack drove a firetruck and a police car.

Well of naturally Jack had some shopping to do, so we headed to Kroger. He knew exactly what to do...maybe the grocery biz is in his blood???

There were so many other sections that I didn't get to take pictures of :( But needless to say, we will be getting a season pass and going back - there is no way you can do it all in one day!

OMG that looks like so much fun. We had a Children's museum open up here this past year and I so want to go! Maybe when he starts walking. Jack is an excellent shopper. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. :)

I would have had to be dragged out of the Disco section for sure.
