Home Sweet Home

We are finally here! After a week of packing and moving and unpacking we are here. The house is not quite setup but we are are at least functioning. And thank goodness the cable man came yesterday! 4 days alone in a house with no cable or internet = scary. But I survived.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our new house. I think it is the only think we love about our new "home town" at the moment (but I am sure I will come to love the local Wal-Mart at some juncture, however, they are building a target right down the street from us which I CAN NOT tell you how excited I am about that - I will host a parade on opening day). Back to the positives, our house is huge compared to our house in Houston. So big in fact that Owen can make a lap at full speed through the kitchen, great room, and dining room and for those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Owen, this is a great thing! And our house is brand new so it is cootie free, including the bath tub that I could live in! You'll just have to come visit so you can see for yourself. I'll let you use my tub and take you to Target too :)

Here are some pictures from our move and the last week. We will post more as the house comes together. Right now some would wonder how we function....

We stayed at Nana's and Grandad's for a few days while Nathan drove up here with the dogs. Jack was happy about that :0

Big room. Little Baby.

Carpet Angels. I love me some new carpet.

Sold! Sold! Now if we could just sell our house in Texas!

Jack is enjoying his new swing and his new toy, his thumb.

Nathan and I play a game called "The Amazing Walking Baby" where we will pose Jack "walking", hide, and then get the other's attention. Nathan called my name the other night, and this is what I turned around to.

It snowed here earlier this week, and its suppose to snow again tonight! Here is our huge, but awfully boring back yard as the snow started to fall. The dogs weren't huge fans of the climate change.

We had to dig out Jack's warm clothes for the snow.

Jack is trying to sit up and see the world lately, so I decided to try him in the Bumbo seat. He is a little young for it, but seems to enjoy it...

...for awhile...
Stick a fork in him, he is done. He lets you know when he is getting tired and wants out.

Jack is 12 weeks old now. He is cooing and laughing now. Last night did his first true belly laugh while we were playing. He kept going and going so we got out the video camera. Sure enough he clamed up the second it came out. I'll try and get him on camera laughing, it is just too good!
