OK let me preface this blog with an apology to Nathan. I accidentally, in my digitally dumb state, deleted the pictures from Nathan's birthday. So, I will narrate the majority of this blog. I will try not to be so stupid next time! I swear I never pressed erase! All I was trying to do was increase the quality of the pictures!!!
Happy Birthday Daddy! Nathan turned 26 today with the luck of the Irish on his side! We pretty much celebrated his birthday yesterday since we knew he would have to work today. I had wonderful pictures of Jack and Nathan opening his gifts - a new watch and some clothes - but somehow they disappeared (I am not ready to take full blame for deleting them - I am not that dumb!). And then tonight I made him a pot roast, not as good as Grandma's, but then is anything as good as Grandma's (especially Nathan's Grandma!) and an ice cream carrot cake (his 2 favorite sweet things). And yes, I had pictures of the candles and Jack and the whole bit - those too are missing!
Here are Daddy & Jack playing after dinner...He is wearing a cute green outfit, however, you should have seen the super cute "Kiss me I'm Irish" outfit he had on this morning. Unfortunately, he only got to wear it for about 5 minutes. Let's put it this way, he is between diaper sizes!

And for some reason today, Jack passed out at 8:30 without even eating!!! We laid him down in his crib thinking that would wake him up like it usually does...nothing. Its 10:15 now, we'll see how long he stays asleep on an empty stomach!
I guess this is what "they" mean when they say "sleeping like a baby."

oh, Jack, I envy your amazing nap-taking skills. Maybe I should go to bed without any supper more often. Let's be honest, the metabolism isn't getting any better with age. lol Hope Mississippi/Memphis is treating y'all well! Texas hearts you! :)
