Memorial Day Weekend is:
Rolling down a grass hill with your friends.
Watching a Memphis Redbirds Baseball game with your daddy.
Some fun with your sweetie and your friends.
Taking in all the sights and sounds.
Then laying down on the cool grass to enjoy it.
And then realizing the view is better from Daddy's lap.
And then trying out Mommy's lap.
Memorial Day Weekend is anticipation of good things to come.
Excitement that it is almost here.
Just not being able to contain yourself because of the excitement.
So you hug your bestie.
It is being unsure what everyone is so excited about.
Memorial Day is FIREWORKS....
From the best view in the house.
Is having a reason to grab your Daddy's neck.
And smile with Mama.
And swim with your friends.
Memorial Day Weekend is a time to have lots of fun, kick off the summer, and be thankful for the great country we live in and the sacrifice of those who protect it.
