Apparently you didn't get my memo Old Man Winter...

Seriously. He must not be one of the 9 people who follow my blog. Hum. Funny. I was sure it would work. Almost as sure as I am that Punxsutawney Phil can really predict an early spring. Anyone know any cease desist snow dances? I'm willing to try. I'm going crazy. I've exhausted all measures and tactics on how to keep two toddlers entertained inside without involving the TV. It's much harder than you think. You should try it someday. But in all actuality it wouldn't be that bad except for every time it snows here (5 times in the last 6 weeks) the world as I know shuts down for 2 days. So, I'm literally stuck at home, inside for days. Super.

I'm ready for spring. I got a new bike! (Which came in a giant box delivered by the tiniest UPS woman I have ever seen. I felt kind of bad. )

The bike is almost ready to ride, but the pedals aren't on because I had to order new ones. Not that it would matter because the shoes I ordered didn't fit and I had to send them back. Then I couldn't put them on because I had to order tools....and the list goes on. Cycling is a money pit. I hope I really like it once I finally get to ride my bike. But I guess my arch nemesis is taking care of that one, because with 5 inches of snow on the ground, riding a bike really isn't an option. Pedals or no pedals.

I think we should lighten things up with my cute kids in this dreadful snow. Here is Katelynn investigating a new fashion statement and the snow on Monday.

And here they are yesterday playing in the snow as it started to fall. Oh and before you get all worked up about them not having jackets, I hadn't intended on them going outside. They followed me out to the garage to get something from the car and were enticed by the fluffy magic. The whole event lasted 1 minute and 42 seconds. My camera was right in the kitchen, for those who were wondering.

In other non-related news: Check out how short Jack's jeans are? Time to put those up!
And in more non-related news: Jack has graduated from calling me Mama to Mommy now. This makes me sad because soon it will be Mom and he will be all grown. He knows I don't like 'Mom' so he does it to bother me.

my dad still calls his mom "mama." but they grew up country, so I guess it's a bit different.
