I know I know....

I know I know I have been bad about posting lately. I just have less time to spend in front of a computer now that Jack is crawling. More time chasing, more time cleaning, and less time typing!

Jack is really enjoying crawling. He refuses to be held when he is on the floor. He has too much to do and too much to see. Occasionally, he will crawl back to me and lay across my lap for some cuddle time, but not for long, he is busy people! He turned 8 months old this week and weighed just shy of 22lbs. And trust me, this weight is not in his height, it's in his belly! He eats everything I put in front of him. Jack has never met a food or a toy he didn't like!

Here is a little look back on our week.

Jack loves bath time and he especially loves to play on the bed after bath time.

As I mentioned before, Jack is busy. So busy, he sometimes refuses to nap, so this is what happens....

He just passed out while eating his dinner :( He even stayed asleep while Nathan cleaned his face, something he normally protests with the passion of an antiwar activist! All his crawling and discovery just done wore him out.

This last week he discovered windows. Jack crawled over to the window and was peaking out. Well every once and a while, I would hear him just cry out of nowhere. I would run over to him and nothing would be wrong, he would just be starring out the window.... well I sat next to him and quickly found out what he was upset about. The weenie dogs would scare him when they popped over the ledge to look in. It was one of those pathetic, sad, and hilarious moments. He eventually managed to pull up on the window sill so he would have the upper hand on the dogs!

Jack went to the park for the first time this week. He loved the baby swings. He was so relaxed and pretty much fell asleep while I was pushing him. Ah, the life of a baby! Finally, Nathan let me sleep in this morning since Jack has been waking up so much at night lately (I think he is teething...he has 6 teeth and is working on 7 and 8). So when I woke up from my restful slumber, this is what I found in Jack's room... Now if that just doesn't melt your heart, we can't be friends!

I swear that child gets cuter everyday! I miss you guys. And I can't believe he is almost 22 pounds. Sterling was only 23 at his one year checkup, and he's not a little guy! My favorite picture is the one with the weenie dog on the other side of the window peeking in at him. Love you, miss you! (and Jack and Nathan too, of course)

I can hardly handle how cute that boy is! How about you guys come out so the boys can play together. Our new house has a pool and they can swim all day. Make the arrangements.
