Little Big Man

Our little man is 4 months old and is quickly turning into a little big man. He went to the doctor Monday for his checkup. He weighed 15.2 lbs (60%) and was 25inches long (50%). Still has the reflux so the Doctor kept him on Prevacid for another 2 months :( and then proceeded to give him 5 pokies :( Jack wasn't too happy with this and let me know it by basically crying for 2.5 days straight. Conveniently, Nathan was in Denver all week...hummm?
Jack learned some mad skills while daddy was out of town. At our weekly play date on Wednesday, he sat up by himself for almost a minute, even correcting himself as he tipped to one side. I have decided that he was showing off for the ladies. Here he is doing it again - I'm behind him so I can catch him when he falls...

And he is making huge improvements in the tummy time department. Tummy time usually lasts about 30 seconds, ending with Jack screaming and then throwing up...so you blame the guy for hating it? I was starting to worry that he would go to Kindergarten not rolling over. But yesterday it seemed like he was starting to get with the program. Starting to move his legs to the side....it's coming soon!

Doing the "Sterling" or "superman" move. He lasted on his tummy for about 5 minutes...then threw up :(

And here is his new favorite toy. He is not quite tall enough yet, but nothing a pillow can't fix.

Finally, pictures from our play dates. I joined this great new mom's group (yes, I can here my still cool friends laughing at me from various regions of the country, but it's only a matter of time before you are in a mom's group!) We have play dates every Wednesday at various houses. Jack is the youngest, but seems to love being around all the other babies and toddlers. As soon as we get there, he starts kicking his legs and arms and babbling.
