Signs of warmer weather, greener grass, and longer days are here! Ahh sweet spring, my second favorite time of year, (summer is my favorite - not necessarily for the weather but more for the laid back relaxed feeling) is upon us. We have been having the kind of weather that makes your
soul happy! The kind of weather that makes your 2 year old want to run around in the backyard in his
underwear and rain boots (sorry no pictures). The kind of weather that makes that same 2 year old request "out" before he has even had his beloved milk and cartoons on Sunday morning, to
frolic in the said
glorious weather while still in his jammies and the aforementioned rain boots.
The kind of weather that makes your 8 month old, sporting some of her new colorful spring garb, want to crawl on pokey grass even though you set out a huge blanket for her so she can get to the
big kid toys.
And that same kind of weather that makes her
laugh out loud with every push of the swing.
That kind of weather that makes this Mama pull out that stack of gossip and fashion magazines that has been collecting dust, and plop down on that huge fluffy blanket rejected by the baby, soak up some vitamin D and thank God for weather like this. Yes people, it's that kind of weather.
