Loving me some 3 day weekend

Finally! I got one of little bit's million dollar smiles on camera! I had just told her that it was a 3 day weekend and that Daddy would be home for 3 days.

Big bit decided to celebrate the news by stuffing Daddy's face with food and then crying about it.



So what are we doing on this long weekend besides eating....

SLEEPING!
We must be the luckiest parents in the world, or having been tortured by sleepless nights for a year is finally paying off, or my love of sleep has finally rubbed off on my babes, because both bits have slept in until 8:30am the last few days. Making my 3 day weekend even sweeter!

We are also playing outside enjoying our last weekend of summer and the warm weather. Yes he is wearing girls sun glasses and no I did not purchase them. They are his friend Chloe's sunglasses that she left over here that he happens to love. Weird but whatever.
We also went to the Drive In movies with the Poulin's to see G-force and Ice Age 3. I can't tell you how much Jack enjoyed being up late, eating the world's largest bucket of popcorn, watching a movie, and playing with his friends all at the same time. See for yourself...






One thing we did not do, get big bit a much needed hair cut.


We did try out Little Bit's new cloth diapers. She has on the fuzzi bunz one size cloth diaper. Love the daisy prints!



We had a great weekend and hopefully you did too. I really think 3 day weekends should be the standard and not the exception. Look how happy it made my babies...
