So sorry to keep you waiting.

So sorry to keep you waiting blog readers. Not my intent. The bits (Big and little bit or Jack and Katelynn - A new nickname for the blog that I am taking for a test drive? )haven't allowed me much computer time these days. In fact big bit is on the guest bed (in the same room as the computer now for all those who haven't visited lately)coloring while I type. Who knows what that bed is going to look like when I am finished! Ok he is already done coloring and on to Sesame Street. Ok and he is now done with that!!! Alright, I need to get on with it before he destroys my house. I give it 5 minutes tops!

OK so Nathan. He is moving....on up that is! Sorry Christine, we are not moving back to Phoenix or back to Houston Jessica or even closer to anyone! Nathan got a wonderful promotion last week. He is going to be running a a new Distribution Center here in Memphis that will be distributing the H1N1 vaccine in the fall. We are so proud of him!

And big bit is 20 months old today! He is so old! Getting scary close to 2....He is just babbling away in his own language with a few break through thoughts of actual English. He is a typical boy, would rather grunt than use his words. But if you ask him to say it or what he wants, he will. Just needs to be prodded a bit. Again, just a boy. Coloring is tied for his new favorite past time along with chasing the dogs.

And little bit is 8 weeks old today as well. She is still so little and rocking the newborn clothes, but so cute. And she is my champion sleeper - sleeping about 9 1/2 hours a night now! Now that is something to celebrate! And she can hold herself up with her arms if on her stomach if you place her there. She goes for her 2 month check up next Tuesday and I am just so anxious to see what she weighs...

Jack and Katelynn are really starting to notice each other. Yesterday, Katelynn was sitting next to me on the bed when Jack crawled up on me for some hugs. Then he noticed Katelynn was looking right at him. She smiled at him. He smiled at her. And then he looked at me and started laughing and babbling as to tell me "hey, look at this cute baby!" It was the sweetest moment.

And for the record, Jack has eaten breakfast and is now on to playing outside in the time it has taken me to finish this post. Thankfully Katelynn is easier and is just sleeping away in her bassinet!
