Another trip to Dallas

Ok for the record, I have DRIVEN to Dallas 3 times in the last 6 weeks. I am so over it and will not be making that drive for a looong time. But that being said, we did get a chance to see some good friends this trip making it a worthwhile venture!


On Friday night we went to Haley's wedding - well really went to a big party they had after their wedding which was earlier that afternoon. It was so much fun - they had the best band that Jack loved. He stood right in front of them and just stared at them. He didn't mind the noise at all, in fact I think he liked it. He especially loved the drummer and kept wanting to climb on stage to touch his drums. Watch out Uncle Jimmy, you might have a new member in your band soon! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of or with Haley, not sure where my mind was on that one.


Then Saturday we met Uncle Matthew and his new girlfriend Stephanie for lunch and playtime at the park. Again, left the camera in the car and didn't take any pictures. And then we finished of the day with dinner with the "plastics." These are girls I use to work with in Dallas at Travelers, the worst job ever. The only way we survived was humor and little harmless name calling. Anyways, it is so hard to get all of us and our husbands/significant others together now, but we managed on Saturday night for a true plastics reunion. They decided to surprise Jack with an early birthday present. Orly somehow managed to stay out of all of the pictures as she does not like to be on the blog so I thought I would just mention her and embarrass her instead!

It was so great to see everyone! It makes us miss Dallas and all the fun we have there, so I guess the 8 hour drive is worth it in the end!
