I broke down. I finally did it. I took Jack to get his first haircut, which in all honesty, is about 2 months overdue! I just wasn't ready to see my baby all grown up with a little boy haircut. After all, he is only 10 1/2 months old! However, after being called a girl twice a week on average, I decided it was in his best interest to snip his lovely locks! We took him to see Shelly, the girl who cuts my hair, and she did a great job with him.
Here is his "before" shot. Clearly in need of a trim.
The "after" shot! Jack did well, but once Shelly took bright shiny objects to his head, he wanted to grab them. So Nathan had to put down the camera and keep Jack occupied so he didn't use the scissors as a teething ring. Then he got kind of fussy because he was hungry so no cute photo before we left. But life was all better once he got his goldfish. Doesn't he look like a little boy now? I have to admit, it is nice to have his rat tail gone!

any removal of a rat-tail is a great day, indeed.
cute pics!!!
He's been called a girl because of his long hair and Paige has been called a boy because of her lack of long hair. These two are such a pair.
She has yet to get her hair cut, and won't for a while. :)
So cute! He is starting to look so much more like you! Chris and I are looking forward to seeing you guys around X-mas time, it's been too long!
Jack looks darling. I never thought he looked like a girl. People are crazy when they say stuff like that. Did you keep his hair like some moms do?
Very cute! Did you save his hair? I saved Sterling's from his 1st haircut but then I lost it. Oops! Mother of the Year. It will probably turn up somewhere in the house in a few years. Congrats on your big boy!
